This innovative, patented system utilizes a small rechargeable portable vacuum coupled with a disposable filter, flexible tube and a suction port that fits most current clippers. When body hair is clipped, the ClipVac system removes the hair as its being clipped, providing a clear view of the skin. The hair is trapped in a disposable filter that is discarded after each use eliminating the need to "tape" off the skin to remove the hair, which in turn eliminates potential skin irritation and reactions.

In current practices of removing body hair prior to surgery, the hair is clipped with electric clippers and then is "taped" off with surgical tape or gloves. This method is messy, time consuming and can lead to infections, contamination and ultimately complications for the patient.
