"While on vacation in the Florida Keys in 1995, I was snorkeling and saw a veteran who wanted to snorkel also but was unable to because of a disability. Being a Vietnam vet myself this made me think about designing a new type of water craft. Almost 15 years later I started working on a design patterned after seeing a water bug swimming across a stream. I thought this was an interesting way to walk on water - and the Snorkel Craft was born."
