Sellers Petroleum, a 50 years plus petroleum products marketing company, was founded by John D. Sellers and Verna E. Sellers. The company incorporated in 1974 and became Sellers Petroleum Products, Inc ( an Arizona Corporation). During July of 1983 the company expanded it's marketing area with the acquisition of J. L. Qualls Distributing. In 1995 a second expansion took place with the opening of offices in San Diego County ( John D. Sellers was a Union Oil consignee for 18 years out of Oceanside before moving to Yuma ). In 2004 the company changed it's name to Snake Bite Leasing, Inc.. Snake Bite Leasing continues with petroleum marketing today under the DBA Sellers Petroleum. Since the companies inception it has promoted primarily Union Oil ( Unocal 76 ) products. In 2003 Sellers Petroleum expanded its product line to include ChevronTexaco products. The operations of Sellers Petroleum encompass fuels, lubricants, coolants, solvents, race gas and many other petroleum related products. The marketing area includes Southern California and Southwestern Arizona. Currently the Board of Directors for Snake Bite Leasing include Reed Sellers, Dave Sellers and John M. Sellers. Marketing locations are maintained in both Arizona and California with complete staffing for the continuing convenience of Sellers Petroleum customers. Sellers Petroleum owns and operates a fleet of radio dispatched delivery vehicles. Our services include transportation of bulk fuels, oils, solvents, coolants and miscellaneous other products. We offer transport (T/T) deliveries, keep full small quantity deliveries, mid quantity bobtail service, contractor wet hosing, common carrier (freight only), and miscellaneous other delivery routines. Additionally we transport large and small quantities of packaged lubricants. Deliveries include cases, drums, totes, and bulk containers. Sellers Petroleum has access to branded and unbranded fuels from Chevron/Texaco, ConocoPhillips, BP/Arco, Valero, Tosco, Tesoro and numerous independent suppliers. We offer CARB quality fuels for California and Clear or EPA quality fuels for Arizona. All grades of gasoline, clear and dyed #2 diesels, all blends of Bio-diesel from B100 to B5, autodiesel, kerosine, pearl kerosine, solvents, thinners, aviation gas, coolants and various specialty products.
