Jim McGowan is President of McGowan Properties which has developed some beautiful neighborhoods in the area. They have done Northwoods, Wildewood, Riverhills, Exmoor, The Stables, Main Street Village, Callaway Green and more.

He also is a Broker/Salesman at Loss Realty Group, and lists and sells residential and commercial properties. He specializes in the areas that he has developed - Sylvania, west Toledo, some Perrysburg/river areas, and he does some very special properties, no matter where they are located.

Jim's family owns and operates numerous commercial buildings and he handles the management and leasing of these properties in his office. These contacts too enhance his connectivity in the general real estate market.

One of his great joys in life is coaching the St. Ursula Golf team. He has been doing this on a volunteer basis for about 10 years now and they have built one of the finest programs in Ohio.

He has a beautiful wife, Joni, whom he married in 1981. He feels that he has married "up" as there has never been a day when he questioned his choice. Jim states, "She is way too good for me and she is still the most beautiful woman I have ever seen." He is blessed with two wonderful kids, Jim and Mallory. Jim is married to Meghan, and they have a 16 month old son, Cass. "This kid has changed everything." Mallory has just graduated in Marketing and Accounting from Lourdes. Jim is very proud of her and her accomplishments. Both Jim and Mallory do some work for Jim and he enjoys having them around because they "get it."
