Founded in 1981, with 2 full -time employees in 2,000 square feet of space. Since then, the company has expanded its facility nine times, to 25,000 square feet, completing the latest addition in May of 2005.

Fabrication:

OMT management and personnel possess the mechanical ability, technical know how, talent, experience and shop equipment to fabricate and assemble the items, large or small, customized or conventional, necessary to meet our clients needs.

Machining:

In our machine shop we have the capabilities to provide a wide variety of machining solutions ranging from small precision parts to larger, heavier work such as weldments, castings and shafts up to 17" in diameter and 100" in length. In 2001 we extended our capabilities with a vertical turret that allows work capacities to 40" in diameter and 40" in length.

OMT provides custom tooling services for specific needs that the customer may have. OMT provides piece work to small production runs with the use of a 3 axis CNC millimg machine and turning center with a capacity of 10" in diameter and 20" in length and is equiped with a bar feed unit with the capacity of up to 1-3/4" diameter.

We provide the complete machining of OEM replacement shafts to include any type of thread forms, pitches, keyways, tapers and ground surfaces/journals. OMT uses flame spray technology to repair costly shafts and spindles. This process can save considerable down time and avoid high replacement costs.
