My Uncle's Lamps was founded in 2005. The mission is to provide interior designers, decorators, and antique collectors with vintage table lamps from the 1930's and 1940's. These lamps were manufactured by the Davart Company, founded by my Uncle, Michael Glaser, in 1929. Located in New York City, his company specialized in manufacturing high quality decorative table lamps. These lamps were produced with porcelain and pottery commissioned from notable American companies such as Lenox, Roseville, Stangl and Vontury. These exclusive Art Deco and Modern designs were sold in upscale retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue during the 1930's and 1940's.



I have always admired my Uncle's lamps for their beauty and design. Over the years, I have enjoyed searching for and collecting Davart Lamps.
