Metro Data Center's services and products, combined with progressive and proactive technical support, enable our customers to migrate business-critical applications into a High Tier Fully Redundant Infrastructure environment to support their distributed, private or public networks. Metro Data Center's level of security and provisioning is designed to provide the highest level of HIPAA compliance, through our SOC 2 Trust Service Principles, Criteria, and Illustrations for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy. Metro Data Center's management team has national experience and working knowledge of audit compliance within the emerging national health care and financial sectors. The Service Organization Control SOC 2 audit report provides customers with the controls needed to clearly define: security, availability, honesty and confidentiality. HIPAA (The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 Privacy and Security Rules) trust principals align within our audit to also provide for comprehensive Data Center compliance.

Metro Data Center operates in three business segments: Fiber Networks, Business Acceleration and Development and Data Center Services. The scope of this report focuses on data center operations, which primarily include physical space for hosting customers' network and other equipment plus associated services such as redundant power and network connectivity, environmental controls and security.
Metro Data Center's facility is located in Dublin, Ohio and offers a comprehensive solution, in which SOC 2 Availability examinations are performed. We charge monthly fees for data center services based on the amount of square footage and power that a customer uses. The Crowe Horwath SOC2 Audit represents our data center facility for which SOC 2 Availability examinations are performed specific to the Availability principle set forth in TSP section 100, Trust Service Principles, Criteria, and Illustrations for Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality and Privacy.
