M&M Farm Supply, a full service feed and country lifestyle retail store, was originally founded in 1959 as a laying hen business.

Purina chicken feed was sold to over 50,000 laying hens. The poultry business was fazed out in 1970. Replacing that business was a full service retail store with full line of Purina products was opened in Franklin. The business grew rapidly in the 1970's with the establishment of coastal bermuda grass in East Texas that brought more beef cattle to the area.

Our Normangee location was opened in 1978 and the Cameron location was purchased in 1985. The Groesbeck store followed in 1995. M&M grew to be one of the largest Purina dealers in the United States.

During our growth and yet today, our company philosophy focused on customer service, a knowledgeable employee team, and a strong commitment to selling best value products.

The past 10 years have been filled with excitement and change. With the expanding rural population in Texas and a gradual change in our customer base, we added new retail departments and expanded our product offering. In addition to our traditional farm and ranch supplies, we added Purina small animal products, an expanded farm and home hardware area, a complete new lawn and garden center, and a huge inventory of gifts, clothing and children's toys.
