It started in 2007 with a print advertising co-op. The concept was, from the beginning, community business promotion. The goal was to provide a business-to-business membership organization where each member could benefit from a group collective of cross-promotion and advertising. This would effectively bring more customers to each business member within the "Community Group".



Through that experience, it quickly became clear that most local merchant and service business needs were not being met. Primarily, we discovered local products and, in particular, service-based businesses were not easily accessible to their customer base within our own community and very few had a presence on the Internet.



In short, there was no way for any local business to easily and affordably showcase themselves or expand their marketplace, locally or globally.



In response to that need, late in 2008, a local community website for small businesses was created. With the website's swift success came the realization that there was still more to offer our community. Emerging geo-targeted technology made it possible now for every small business and individual in every community to benefit by harnessing the power of the Internet. Small communities could not only survive, they could thrive.

Launched in 2011, eAhoy.com is designed and built to be a game changer - the next generation Internet Marketplace incorporating geo-targeted technology and social networking tools with ease of use, affordability and a generous affiliate program.
