Outstanding Projects--Now among the top 15 contractors in Utah, Kier Construction has developed into a diversified general contractor with annual revenues of over $50 million and several hundred commerical and multi-unit projects throughout the Intermountain West.

Integrity--Kier Construction, an offspring of The Kier Corporation, was created to manage the construction aspects of a growing family business. Since our inception in 1986, Steve and Scott Kier have not lost sight of the business philosophies instilled in them by their father, the late James E. Kier. From one man's vision, hard work and sound business sense, Steve and Scott Kier have added to the solid foundation and integrity that Jim Kier had laid down decades before.

Principal Involvement--Kier Construction is more than a name, it's an ongoing philosophy of hands-on participation and accountability. Both Steve and Scott Kier make it a point to be involved with every project to ensure that the Kier goal of meeting the needs of each and every customer is reached. Each project we undertake receives the personal attention Kier Construction is known for.

A construction project begins and ends with a well defined team in place, a win-win situation for client and builder alike. At Kier Construction, our project management group promotes the team concept throughout the construction process.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

The value of our pre-construction services is well known, in fact over 50% of our annual revenues are derived from clients who take advantage of these services. The most successful projects are produced when proper conceptual budgeting, planning, aggressive value engineering, in-depth product analysis, and organized design review take place during the early stages of any project.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Kier's project management department offers expertise and a wealth of experience that has contributed to a rich history of satisfied clients. Our project managers are involved with the day-to-day events and communicate effectively with the entire project development team-- ensuring that the project maintains the established schedule and budget and that all information flows smoothly. A comprehensive monthly report is provided to our clients in an effort to effectively communicate the status of their project.

KIER'S OWN FORCES

We provide many services with our own forces, including concrete formwork, wood and steel framing, finish carpentry, and commercial hardware. Our concrete crew in particular, has a reputation in the industry for their capabilities and quality workmanship, and they excel at a variety of forming techniques including architectural concrete. These in-house capabilities allow Kier to respond quickly to any challenge presented.

POST CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

In a world where client concerns can be lost in the rigors of the construction process, we take a different approach. Kier's customer service philosophy goes beyond the design and construction process. Our post project follow through (warranty service) is well known and is another reason that customers return to Kier again and again.
