Glidewell Laboratories, based in Newport Beach, California, is an industry-leading provider of high-quality dental lab products and services to dental professionals nationwide for a low cost. Established in January 1970 by Jim Glidewell, CDT, the lab specializes in crown & bridge, ceramic, removable full and partial dentures, dental implants and prosthetic components, and full-cast restorations. Glidewell is an industry leader thanks to its innovative dental technology, experienced R&D department, and dedication to providing free or affordable clinical and technical education to promote industry growth.

Building on its decades-long heritage of technological innovation, Glidewell Dental Lab has made a significant investment in dental implant research and development. This forward-thinking strategy is designed to harness technology in order to bring comprehensive dental implant treatment to patients across the economic spectrum, providing high value at an affordable price. Our lab's dental Implant department includes specialists in a variety of dental fields who work on your cases in our state-of-the-art implant laboratory. This diverse team includes Master Dental Technicians, experts with Ph.Ds in material sciences and software development, and dentists with comprehensive clinical backgrounds.

As dental technology continues to advance, Glidewell Dental Lab remains dedicated to developing CAD/CAM. This technology, which enables dentists to take digital impressions and send them electronically to our dental lab, allows us to bring about more predictable results, increase the case-to-case consistency and quality of restorations, and help improve patients' oral health. The success of CAD/CAM and Glidewell products such as BruxZir® Solid Zirconia that we design and mill using this technology, would not be possible without the lab's R&D department. Comprising scientists, engineers, dentists and CDTs, this team works to improve existing processes to ensure all of the products we produce are high in quality.

Glidewell Dental Lab is also known for expanding the availability of clinical knowledge and dental education. Through keynote speaking engagements, continuing education programs, free educational DVDs and training courses, company president and CEO Jim Glidewell demonstrates his belief in sharing with others his production and management strategies for dental lab growth. Glidewell Dental Lab also provides free patient education materials to dentists to help promote the growth of their practice by encouraging patients to seek professional dental services. In July 2011, Glidewell opened the Glidewell International Technology Center, the lab's 2,800-square-foot training, education and technology demonstration center.
