Established in 1968 and founded by Bob Fisher and his wife, Madelyne Fisher, Bob began his automotive career in 1947 at Burt Chevrolet in Englewood, CO until 1968 when the family moved to Boulder. Bob purchased the Boulder Chevrolet franchise in 1968, moved the dealership to 33rd & Arapahoe and then to its exsiting location at Cherryvale and Arapahoe. Bob added many franchises over the years such as Isuzu, Hyundai, Pontiac and Honda. In September 2009, the business became Fisher Honda-Kia.

Bob and Madelyne raised two children, Lynn Rickman of Lafayette and Craig Fisher of Boulder. Bob passed away in July of 2008. Today, Craig and Lynn operate the business along with a staff of 120 employees, who are the foundation of the business and to whom Craig and Lynn attribute their success.
