Originally from Evansville, IN Stewart’s family moved to Arizona in 1957. Stewart a second generation industry veteran has been in trucking her whole life. Her father acquired Arizona Corporation Commission rights in 1940, prior to the deregulation of trucking. Stewart herself has worked every aspect of the trucking industry for the past 40 years. Her resume includes, equipment owner, safety officer, payroll master, warehouse manager, equipment dispatch, freight solicitor, and brokerage owner. Stewart’s employment relationships include Swift Transportation when it was a small company and later with Knight Transportation where she acquired experience and knowledge in port, container, warehouse, and rail operations. Trucking is Stewart’s passion and she is extremely gratified in her life. She is so appreciative for the relationships that have been developed and maintained over the years both internally and externally. Stewart serves on the Arizona Trucking Association and the Arizona Trucking Foundation. Stewart’s awards speak directly to her commitment and her drive to her organization her people and the industry itself.
