Dr. Carlson then came to the United States, completing her residency in family medicine at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. 
Dr. Carlson completed advanced training programs in several specialized areas of medicine. Her work as a researcher is published in several respected journals and publications. She is board certified in family medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine.
In addition to her rewarding work at Cache Cosmetics & Laser, Dr. Carlson serves the Providence community as the owner of Peach Tree Family Medicine and the medical director of Rocky Mountain Home Health and Hospice. 
A classically trained pianist, Dr. Carlson enjoys spending time playing the piano and leading group fitness classes. She is fluent in English, Russian, and Japanese.
