Bryon Ater, owner of BG&S Peening and Consulting, began his career with the US Air Force as an Aircraft/Engine Mechanic in 1972. While stationed at Hahn AFB Germany Bryon trained to obtain his Airframe and Power plant license and continued his training in Scottsdale AZ. This allowed Bryon to continue his career in the aviation industry going from Garret Research (now Honeywell) to Allegheny Airlines (now US Airways). Bryon spent the next 23 years starting as a mechanic and progressing to Production Supervisor/Upgrade Manager of US Airways engine overhaul facility until March 2001.

BG&S Peening and Consulting is an FAA Repair Station (#YG6R145Y) in surface enhancement ranging from shot peening to aircraft wash! BG&S also provides minor repair and overhaul capabilities per our operations specification and CCL list. BG&S was audited and accredited by the Air Force MTTAP Team in September 2007 and Bell Helicopter QPS101 and BPS4409 November 2007. May 5 2015 BG&S Peening was awarded the small business award from Lockheed Martin.
