About the owner
ATAmated's president Bryan Peirsol has over seventeen years of electrical and control systems design and implementation experience. This experience spans many different industries, including eleven years in warehouse distribution, eight in mail processing and distribution, seven years in machine and process control, three years in the semiconductor field, and two years in power generation.

System Engineering
All of ATAmated's systems engineering projects begin with extensive input from the customer and a site visit. We have designed conveyer systems using products from all of the major conveyor manufacturers, and can implement your conveyor and control system using whatever manufacturer you prefer. If you have no preference, ATAmated can recommend a solution that best fits your particular situation.

Warehouse Control Systems
ATAMated is currently focusing its efforts on the warehouse distribution and process control fields. We typically implement control systems using Allen Bradley PLCs and either HP or IBM servers. PLC programs are written in ladder logic and are interfaced to the PCs via OPC, or, in the case of high-speed applications, custom-written DLL files. The PLCs communicate to the servers, which run Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. The servers interface to inline scanners, hand scanners, Warehouse Management Systems, and custom applications written in one of the Visual Studio 2010 languages.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ATAMated has programming experience with other PLC manufacturers, including Siemens, GE, Square D, Modicon, and Omron.
We have used scanners from Accusort, Sick, Metrologic, Microscan, Symbol, and Intermec in our past designs.
