The first question most homeowners ask: What are acoustical treatments?
Acoustical treatment is one of the most overlooked solutions to acoustical issues that exists within many of today's home theaters. The shape of a room, the materials that comprise it, and the room's layout are all factors that will increase or decrease the overall quality of your theaters sound. Most rooms will have problems with sound waves because they will bounce back at themselves and can cancel themselves out. Sound waves reflect off of walls and floors and cause unclear dialogue and distorted sounds if not treated correctly. Ideally, a home theater should be in an acoustically friendly room that is comprised of variations of reflecting and absorbing materials. Most situations are going to require some kind of essential acoustical room treatment. Most homeowners are unaware of the benefits you get from treating your theater. If you watch a movie in your theater without proper acoustical treatments, I bet you find your self constantly turning your stereo up or down to get the volume you desire. Part of this disruption is caused by improper acoustics. What you don't want is all the sound waves reflecting off your surfaces, bouncing around the room crashing into each other causing cancelation or mudding up the room. Using our patented on-site fabrication gives us the ability to examine your theater to determine the correct applications of reflection and absorption, getting the most out of your audio equipment.
We also offer sound reduction applications for those of us who live in high-rise units, and want to use their Home Entertainment systems to their fullest potential.
In addition to being part of a highly sought after profession we also offer retail maintenance, where we take care of all your retail needs.
