Next Generation EAS is here! We at Hormann America are pleased that FCC has issued the new rulling that requires the use of the CAP for the New Generation Emergency Alert System. Hormann America products fully support these rules.

Since Hormann America launched Contra Costa County's Community Warning System in 1994, we have advocated the integration of all-hazards, all-tools warning systems, and we have developed both the technical and procedural expertise needed to advance efforts on a national level. California EDIS system, statewide all-hazards all-warning-tools system, is a good example.

Going forward under the new rules, we will contribute even more fully to the growth and integrity of our nation's emergency alert system. We value being of service to our communities, and assisting governments and industry leaders in providing the best alerting systems in the nation.

The EZ Siren Modeler software allows the user to predict and design how well a particular size siren or siren system will cover a specific area. The software computes sound pressure levels and displays them as color-coded isobars overlaid on a user-selected map of the area.
