A.Q. was established on April 2nd, 1992. Our mission has been to build and complete quality projects on time and within budget. Since inception we have built 68 homes, 92 remodels, 32 commercial buildings, 18 residential and commercial subdivisions including all infrastructures for numerous private and public projects. Currently A.Q. annual sales are approximately $6m-$8m per calendar year. We are a privately owned construction firm specializing in construction management, site preparation, highway/street and bridge demolition, heavy construction, mechanical and hydraulic dredging, commercial construction, and underground utilities. Our clients include federal, state, and local government agencies, public utilities, and private industry. We are locally owned, operated, and registered with the State of Louisiana in good standing.
Corie Herberger, founder of A.Q. is a fourth generation construction builder. Corie started the company as a residential and commercial contractor while growing the business substantially over the last seventeen years. The company has redirected its focus from residential construction to highway, street, bridge and the heavy construction industry. The Vice-President of A.Q., Kirk Van Camp, started with this firm in 1997. He assisted A. Q. with an additional business venture named A.Q. Insulation, which was lucrative but sold after 6 years. Our quality control department is led by Kirk Van Camp, while the field supervisors are Scott Roy and David Frederick. Mark Boudreaux along with Scott and David are business graduates and help insure the quality of safety in the field. A.Q. employs between ten to twenty equipment and truck operators, depending on current workload.
The depth of our technical expertise, as well as adequate financial resources allows A.Q. the ability to efficiently complete contracts with the competence to maintain budgetary limitations. Our current surety bond aggregate limitation is six million with options to increase this limitation in the early spring of 2012 to ten million.
