Achieve ESL Services, LLC, exists to assist non-native English speakers, in person and online, in achieving their personal, educational and professional goals, using the English language.

We are here to assist individuals who have started the challenging and rewarding process of learning English for general, academic, business, medical or other professional purposes. We customize our services around the specific needs and goals of our clients. We meet with clients in their chosen location, in Columbus, OH or online using an Internet video conferencing service. Achieve ESL Services offers a variety of services, from general and business conversation practice, speech and presentation preparation, editing and practice, to document editing and proofreading services. We also offer university search and application services for non-native English speakers. Andy Martin, the person who started Achieve ESL Services, LLC, has years of experience in teaching and assisting non-native speakers of English, with reaching their English language goals. He has taught English in Ukraine, Turkey and the U.S. to non-native speakers of English. His experience spans nearly ten years of serving hundreds of students, business and medical professionals. Andy's ESL teaching experience is mostly with those who have graduated from high school and older. He has worked on book editing and proofing projects, medical and professional journal article editing, business document editing and writing, engineering and manufacturing documents and website content editing, along with a variety of academic writing projects. He is also an active member of the global TESOL Association. Andy also has a 120 hour TEFL Certification, Bachelors Degree and is currently working on a Masters in Multicultural Education with a concentration in TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages). Andy was one of almost 60 ESL teachers throughout the U.S. from among 1100 ESL teachers, who were nominated for a Teaching Excellence Award in 2013. Andy was born in Kentucky and now lives in Columbus, Ohio. He has a family and has been happily married for fifteen years. He and his family also provide foster care for infant children. He has traveled to sixteen different countries and thirty four of the fifty states in America, so far. He really enjoys time with family and friends and spending time outside and traveling. He loves to help people any way he can. Andy understands the challenges of learning a new language and culture and is very understanding of the difficulties, challenges and enjoyable parts of these experiences. He does not want people who are learning English and trying to use it effectively, to feel all alone in the process. He enjoys being available to help support internationals who are learning English, so they may be more effective and successful in reaching their personal, educational and professional goals. Q: Is Achieve ESL Services, LLC an ESL school or institute?
A: No. It must be clearly understood that Achieve ESL Services, LLC is not an ESL school. We offer support and tutoring services to assist those who may or may not be currently enrolled in an intensive English language program. Our purpose and goal is to assist the client in the process of learning English. We do not provided classes that receive a certificate upon completion, nor do we offer an I-20 for study. We only offer practical and focused support and assistance for those who already have an English language foundation and are simply desiring to build upon, deepen, expand or repair those pre-existing skills in the English language.

Q: How many people work with Achieve ESL Services, LLC?
A: Currently, only the founder of the company is connected with Achieve ESL Services, LLC. In the future, as further growth occurs and a resulting expansion of service demand, there may be more ESL professionals recruited to work with Achieve ESL Services, LLC.

Q: Are books used for lessons with Achieve ESL Services, LLC?
A: We use the books and resources provided by the client and we make suggestions as to books that might be helpful for specific needs or goals of the client. We d not however purchase books for clients nor do we sell books to clients. Most lessons are customized to the client specific needs and goals.
