3-D Ministries was conceived in prayer in 2006. God planted the vision and nurtured the seed for close to 2 years before it was actually birthed in 2008. The founder Elder Karen Piggott started 3-D Ministries in March 2008. There is power in the number 3. The 3 “D” acronym stands for destiny, deliverance and determination. The vision of 3-D Ministries is to minister and serve a healing message of destiny, determination and deliverance to all women spiritually and naturally. Our mission is to fulfill our vision by empowering, developing and outreaching locally, nationally and universally through both affiliations and interactions.

The ministry started with 5 people the founder Elder Karen Piggott, Elder Sharon Gholson, Elder Tiffany Goodrich, Evangelist Vanessa Hurdle and Crystal Johnson, under the covering of Pastor Wilhelmina Leggett. The first board meeting was held in September 2008, and at that meeting the ministry welcomed Evangelist Ronnita Hill and Gwen Meharg. Currently Bishop William M Dawson is the spiritual overseer of 3 D Ministries. There are currently 13 Ministry Members and 12 students in the Sister to Sister program. The ministry is divided into segments, prayer, evangelism, children sponsorship, teaching, healing, spiritual warfare, evangelism, media, servant-hood, community service, etc.

September 2009, benchmarked the mentorship program; that prepares and trains women for wholeness in ministry. The first candidates graduated October 2010. In 2011, the mentorship program was restructured and revamped. The character training program has been improved and now ventured under the name of the Sister to Sister program.

One of the main events that 3-D Ministries orchestrates is the Uncover the Cover Girl. The purpose of this conference is to reveal the inner beauty and the identity of Christ in all women. The first Uncover conference was hosted in August 2008 in Raleigh NC at Covenant Community Center. To this date 3-d Ministries has implemented 6 Uncover Conferences.

In June 2009 the ministry was blessed to minister a Prayer conference “he teacheth my hands to war” hosted by Pastor Zenda Brannon and Shekinah Glory International Ministries.

The long-term vision of 3 d Ministries is to continue to sponsor children during Christmas, give college scholarships, acquire hotel for transitional housing and to acquire a property for a 24 hour threshing room and prayer closet.
